The Black Dress Shoes
Vision: This one sneaked up on me this afternoon. I closed my eyes to blink & saw this VERY clearly. I saw a close-up of rows of black dress shoes (all closed toed) of all different sizes & styles. I was looking down on them and the insides were of cute pink & black fabric – all kinds, similar to those patterns I have posted below.

Conclusion: Not sure yet. It was brought to my attention that I might be going to a fancy party soon, which I have never done. Maybe that's it?

The Jellyfish

Vision: (@ SNG 01.13.08) As we were worshiping during SNG, I saw a jellyfish. Not any old jellyfish . . . a Man-O-War jellyfish. This seems scary to most people, but it is the second vision I have had with a marine animal in it. God is definitely speaking to me because I was a Marine Biology major (despite my ongoing love of the office environment - cough, cough). A Portuguese Man-O-War is actually a colony of individually specialized organisms all working together as one. Weird, I know. But I knew this little known fact. And I felt like it had something to do with our group.

However, it has come to my attention that it just might be for the church. Since that day, there have been two more visions of jellyfish - one of which was drawn by a small child - by members of our church body in situations outside of my own. Strange in that this is January, very cold here, and we are in the Mid-West - totally jellyfish weather, yeah? Go figure. God speaks.

Conclusion: I feel our church is going through some hard times as individuals. I'm not sure where we are as a whole and maybe that's where this jellyfish comes in. Maybe we need to start working harder together.

The Watery Ascension
Dream: (@ Retro Station 01.14.08) We were on vacation, Mom, Dad, my sister, my brother (though in real life I don’t have a brother) & I – at the beach in a cove somewhere with tall buildings. We notice another cove down the waterway and decided we would drive down to it to look upon the water at dusk. The drive was long & it got dark outside. Everything had a blue tint to it. Mom was driving fast, though we didn’t know it. A bend in the road came fast and Mom kept the car straight driving right off a dune onto a beach. We tried to get her to turn the wheel, but she said, “No! You are supposed to go straight!” We were going so fast when we hit the water that we flipped in the car about ten times.

When we stopped we were upside down – or so I thought. I didn’t know if we were underwater or on the beach. I looked over at where my brother was at and he was knocked out. I looked through his window for some reason (not mine) and realized we were underwater and the windows were about to break from the pressure. I took 2 deep breaths and then closed my eyes and took a third – ready for the drowning of my earthly body. I heard nothing. I felt nothing.

All of a sudden, we were in the car on a conveyor belt under what looked like a system of blue painted steel catwalks and ladders going up and up. I couldn’t see where they ended. I looked around and saw other cars in line on the conveyor belts. People were getting out of their cars at little “stations” and climbing up the ladders. Then my brother got out of our car and we followed. He started up a ladder to the first catwalk. We looked around and found more ladders. Which one to climb? My brother seemed to know where he was going. I woke . . . I tried to go back to sleep to finish the dream, but I never got past the first catwalk.

The Drain
Vision: (@ SNG 01.13.08) I saw a bathtub drain with water flowing down into it with bubbles - like the kind that you wash out of your hair.

Conclusion: Clueless at the moment. Please comment.

The Satchel
Vision: (@ SNG 01.13.08) I had a quick vision of a satchel described as follows: chocolate brown leather, rectangular in shape (like it was made to carry a book), with two dark brown leather straps closing the lid with silver snaps and a dark brown leather carrying strap, as well. I was looking at it upside down - or so it seemed. Really, I found myself looking down on it and it was laying in sand at the tide's edge being gently lapped by the ocean's waves.

Conclusion: Clueless at the moment. Please comment.

This Gift of Mine

I need an outlet to let God speak through me. I need to continue to pray for such things to happen. My relationship with Jesus is a personal and powerful one. Regardless of my sins, my own decision, my actions . . . He loves me just as I am and wants me to turn to Him in my time of need. As we found during our Sunday Night Group (SNG), Praise & Prayer go hand in hand. Make sure when you pray that you take time to praise Him for what you have today. Even the littlest things can keep the dialogue open between you and Him.

That’s what he longs for because as long as we continue to talk to Him, He will talk to us and THROUGH us. For His Glory, we will bring people to Him. Through His Power, we can live our lives without fear of anything – but especially loneliness. And through His Mercy, we can be sure we are always Forgiven. Take heart & you will find His Love is the most powerful thing in our lives. It can do anything if you give it a chance. He speaks through me by my sense in the most amazing ways & I need to channel that so that those He is trying to speak to can hear it!

This is my blog to speak these things, to tell the world my visions, words, and love. I have a Prophetic gift. I have many other gifts, as well. But to this day, this is the one that is most supernatural and so it appeals to more people, as oddities do. Nobody can look away from a car wreck. Share your thoughts & opinions & ESPECIALLY if something means something to you, please let me know. I don’t always know how to interpret what I see or hear and so this is why I am sharing my thoughts & dreams with you. I welcome any comments about what I write.

"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." - 1 Corinthians 13:2

Blessed Be His Name.
